34. Experiencing mom rage toward a colic baby // Lily Bondarenko

Feeling anger so strongly you want to hurt your baby.

I know this is not something moms talk about but I know that many moms have experienced this. Of course its a scary feeling and there is a safe way to handle the situation.

If you ever had colic baby then you KNOW how triggering it can be, especially if you are sleep deprived and hungry. Add some unmet emotional needs in the mix and its a perfect storm. Postpartum hormones are also not helpful.

We go raw and deep in this episode with guest speaker, Lily Bondarenko. She is a young mom who had a colic firstborn. She was not expecting to experience so much anger toward her baby to the point of wanting to hurt her.

We also talk bout ways that moms can handle the situation safely and the importance of meeting her basic needs.
