40. What stressors can I control? Controllable vs uncontrollable stressors in life

You have control over your stress.

Of course there are things that happen to you that you cant control, but there are many things in your life that you have full control over.

Here are a few:
👉🏻Meeting your basic needs (sleep and feeding your body with nutritious food)
👉🏻People that you surround yourself with (emotionally draining people or toxic ppl)
👉🏻Trying to control other people
👉🏻Perfectionism/ high expectations of yourself
👉🏻Trying to do everything yourself.

You get to choose where you spend your time and energy on. Often times it's helpful to be reminded that you can let go of certain things and that will greatly reduce your stress load.
