April has followed Duran Duran throughout her life and shared her love of the song "My Own Way." April remembers finding out about Duran Duran from her cool school-aged friends. Then in college, her and her artsy friends would enjoy new music together.
Now April is a photographer in Las Vegas. She has photographed many bands. When the talent is exactly cooperating, she uses this song to give herself the confidence to run the shoot her way. She also likes to use it to set the vibe of the photo shoot. Maybe she plays in the background or maybe it's just running through her head to get herself in the right headspace!
