I have the amazing Dr. Valerie Marcano today.
When choosing her unique veterinary career, she wanted to feed the world. She decided to be a poultry veterinarian. Her mom is a veterinarian in the Caribbean, and Valerie was exposed to vast possibilities of what a veterinarian role could look like, making her a passionate expert who has now built a nonprofit organization called Pawsibilites. Pawsibilties is a community platform for empathy and collaboration striving to create a diverse and thriving veterinary profession. Her journey and mission are inspiring.
